NetIX became a member of Euro-IX
The platform is now connected to 77 more IXPs (Internet Exchange Points)
Connected to Euro-IX, NetIX will participate in the forums organized by association. There is one coming in October where platform representatives will meet clients and partners. “We are glad to be part of Euro-IX. We all share same values for open interexchange of ideas for mutual benefits of the membership,” said Dean Belev, Product Manager at NetIX and added, “NetIX will share technical knowledge and experience with the participants in the community and with its members.”
Euro-IX is an association of Internet Exchange Points (IXPs) formed with the intention to further develop, strengthen and improve the IXP community by offering fora, meetings, mailing lists and on-line resources. A number of Internet Exchange Points recognized a need to combine their resources so as to co-ordinate technical standards across the continent, develop common procedures, and share and publish statistics and other information. This publishing of information would in turn give all interested parties a better insight into the world of IXPs.
