NetIX upgraded nine PoPs in New York
The global internet exchange NetIX has upgraded its points of presence (PoPs) in New York. As a result, the company can now provide 100G capable PoP-to-PoP & customer ports at its 9 PoPs in New York. They are connected to Europe, Miami, Ashburn, LA, and NJFX.
Dean Belev, VP Services of NetIX, commented: “In the last year, we continued investing in NetIX’s global expansion – new services, monitoring tools, 100G services/network, increasing the quality of our services. Upgrading our global network to 100G allows us to respond to price expectations and the growing capacity demands.”
