NetIX adds IX.br Fortaleza to its Peering Ecosystem
Sofia, Bulgaria – 30th August 2024: NetIX, the leading global distributed platform for award-winning connectivity and peering solutions, has announced the addition of the IX.br exchange in Fortaleza, Brazil, to its long list of connected exchanges that sit within its peering ecosystem.
NetIX – part of the Neterra Group – already provides connectivity to IX.br’s other exchanges hosted in São Paulo and Rio de Janeiro; the addition of this third IX.br exchange enables NetIX members and customers to access and benefit from a truly comprehensive presence with coverage across Brazil.
With NetIX’s Global Internet Exchange (GIX) service which blends all the routes from 35+ IXPs together and delivers them via one port and cross connect, members can now access networks connected to IX.br Fortaleza without needing to be physically present in an IX.br-hosted data centre.
