On December 1st, NetIX, the home of the Global Internet Exchange, reached a new record peak of 4.02 Tbps of traffic across its network

At the start of 2024, NetIX’s network had only just broken the 2 Tbps barrier; within five months, the award-winning IXP added a further 1 Tbps to its record, earning its place as the 13th biggest IXP based on traffic, and now just six months later with its new traffic level being 4Tbps, NetIX has been elevates into the prestigious top 10 IXPs globally.
